Making the Most of Munich

Spicing up the Künstlerhaus – a top-class trio
One of Munich’s most notable cultural institutions, the Künstlerhaus (literally: House of Artists) at Lenbachplatz, is celebrating its 110th anniversary in 2010. And since 17 March, a team of experienced and creative caterers have been working to give it a new lease of life with the KÜNSTLERHAUS RESTAURANT in the historical Venetian salon, the KÜNSTLERHAUS BAR on the ground floor and the GRILL RESTAURANT on the top floor, with its attractive roof terrace. Truly a trio apart, located at the heart of Munich’s old town.

Covering around 1,500 m², the exhibits will include Princess Therese’s wedding dress, the motorbike of wall-of-death rider Kitty Mathieu, Schichtl’s guillotine, merry-go-round organs, model roller coasters and many other past and present highlights.
